Songs From Here: Trades & Crafts
Performances by a MaineMTA Member
Songs From Here featuring Sarah Tuttle, soprano and Bridget Convey, piano is a Maine-based initiative that supports locally-written art song. They celebrate the creativity of fellow Mainers in high-quality performances taking place across the state, featuring the work of Maine’s composers and poets.
This year's program is a tribute to a few of the crafts and trades found in Maine- it includes Acadian folk songs, sea shanties, and brand-new songs about the work of the home. You might even hear a tune about blueberries!
